Dr. Zoe Nicolaou elected President of the International College for Maxillofacial Surgery (ICMFS)
Dr. Zoe Nicolaou has been elected President of the International College for Maxillofacial Surgery (ICMFS) during the recent congress held in Baku.
This marks a significant milestone, as she becomes the first woman to hold this position in the history of the College.
Dr. Nicolaou previously served as Vice President of the ICMFS in 2014 and, in 2015, organized the 29th World Congress of the College in Limassol, Cyprus.
Succeeding Professor Adi Rachmiel, her presidency focuses on strengthening unity and collaboration with the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS), promoting the advancement of the specialty, and continuously enhancing patient care, which remains at the core of the College’s mission.
